Community Circles

Community Circle, first known in our congregation as "small group ministry," was initiated in January 2004. There are currently seven groups meeting with up to eight people in each group. Community Circle groups offer a way for friends and members of the Fellowship to develop deeper connections by listening to others and sharing their life stories. The groups discuss thought provoking topics and participate in service within the Fellowship community and beyond. They are facilitated by a trained member of the congregation with the minister's oversight.

We welcome new people into Community Circle groups all year. The first step to join a Community Circle group is to contact Reverend Sarah and provide the following information:

Name, phone, e-mail address

Days you are available

Indicate if you prefer a daytime or evening group.

Once your information has been received we will determine if there is an opening in an existing Community Circle group.

If an opening is identified we will connect you with the facilitator of that group who will coordinate your entry into the group.  If an opening is not available at your preferred times you will be placed on a first come, first served waiting list.  If you are placed on the waiting list we will communicate that to you and update you occasionally regarding the progress in finding an appropriate group for you to join.

Availability changes over time and we are also expecting to add additional groups when there is enough interest and an available facilitator.  By submitting your request you help us understand the level of interest within the fellowship, so please send your request, even if it will only result in your addition to the waiting list.

Thank you for your interest in Community Circle.
