Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the
Hudson Valley

Animal Ministry Begins in Westchester County, New York

On April 7, a new official Chapter of the Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry was born! This new chapter that will be a collaborative effort among Westchester County UU congregations is the second Chapter in New York State.  Our goal is to improve the well-being of all living things, basing our efforts in our faith which affirms the interdependent web of existence. Such efforts may include addressing national issues, such as the “Ag-Gag” laws, providing support to Fellowship members struggling to keep their beloved pets, along with committing volunteer hours to help animals in our community. Our inter-congregational Chapter will also work hard to establish connections and fruitful working partnerships with local organizations working to protect and improve the rights of animals in our County.

Custom U.U. Animal Ministry t-shirts are available in various sizes @ $20 each.
